    Did you know that Montreal became home to the third largest proportion of Holocaust survivors in the world after World War II? Some of them recount their experiences at the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Museum. During the Holocaust Education Series, take the opportunity to visit the exhibition and discover their stories.

    • Free admission at the Museum from 10 am. to 4 pm.
    • Free English Guided Tour at 10:30 am.
    • Free French Guided Tour at 1 pm.


    During your Museum visit, discover artefacts which bring additional significance to survivor accounts, by portraying Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust. Your visit will give you a sense not only of the tragedy, but also an opportunity to hear inspiring stories of resistance, survival and solidarity.



    Free admission to the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Museum is part of the 2011 Holocaust Education Series which is organized by the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre.
