International Day for Sharing Life Stories
The International Day for Sharing Life Stories has been celebrated in many countries around the world since its inception in 2008. The idea for this day was conceived at a "Museum of the Person International Network" meeting held at the Centre d'histoire de Montreal in 2007. This day creates opportunities for organizations and individuals to celebrate the holders of memory, to distribute their knowledge, and to draw attention to the work of those who preserve and highlight the value of their heritage.
